Our Programmes

Technical Skills for Work. Entrepreneurship Skills for Growth.

At ArtisanOga Technical Entrepreneurship Academy (ATEA), we believe learning a technical skill should open more than one door.

It should prepare you to work professionally, earn from your skills, build an enterprise, and eventually create opportunities for others.

That is why ATEA combines practical technical education with entrepreneurship development and pathways to economic opportunity.

Our programmes are built around the ATEA philosophy:MAKE. MANAGE. MARKET. MULTIPLY.

Faculty of Fashion Technology & Entrepreneurship

Fashion Education Built for the Real World

Fashion is both a technical profession and a business opportunity. Our Faculty of Fashion Technology & Entrepreneurship brings these two worlds together.

Rather than separating technical training from commercial realities, ATEA develops students progressively—from learning the craft to understanding professional production and ultimately developing the entrepreneurial capabilities required to participate successfully in the fashion economy.

Whether you have never used a sewing machine or you already operate a fashion business, there is a pathway for you.

Fashion Technology Foundations

Start with the Skill.

This is where the journey begins.

Fashion Technology Foundations is designed for people with little or no previous fashion experience who want to develop a strong practical foundation for a career or entrepreneurial journey in fashion.

Students learn through an intensive, hands-on environment designed to build confidence, discipline and practical competence while introducing them to the commercial realities surrounding the profession.

By the end of the programme, you should have moved from simply being interested in fashion to understanding what it means to create fashion products with purpose and professional standards.

Best suited for

Beginners, aspiring fashion professionals and people exploring a new career or entrepreneurial direction.

Advanced Fashion Technology & Production

Move from Making to Producing Professionally.

There is a difference between knowing how to make clothes and developing the discipline required to produce professionally.

This programme is designed for people who already have fashion knowledge or experience and want to strengthen their capabilities for higher-quality, more consistent and commercially relevant production.

The emphasis moves beyond basic technical execution toward the thinking, standards and production discipline required in a professional fashion environment.

It is particularly suitable for people who have previously learned fashion but recognise that they still need greater confidence, consistency or production capability.

Best suited for

Existing designers, fashion practitioners, previous fashion-school graduates and ATEA Level One graduates.

Fashion Entrepreneurship

Turn Fashion into an Enterprise.

Making a good product and building a successful enterprise are two different capabilities. Fashion Entrepreneurship is designed around that reality.

The programme is for people who want to understand the commercial side of the fashion industry and develop the capabilities required to transform fashion ideas, expertise or existing operations into stronger businesses.

Rather than treating entrepreneurship as an abstract subject, ATEA places students in a practical business-development environment where learning is connected to the realities of customers, money, operations, markets, technology and growth.

The programme is suitable for both technical and non-technical founders. You do not have to be an expert garment maker to build a successful fashion enterprise.

Students also gain exposure to experienced entrepreneurs and business professionals who bring real-world perspectives into the learning experience.

The objective is simple: Don't just leave with knowledge. Leave better prepared to build.
Best suited for

Aspiring entrepreneurs, existing fashion-business owners, experienced designers and people seeking to build commercially viable businesses within the fashion industry.

More Than a Classroom

Your Journey Should Lead Somewhere.

ATEA was created from a simple observation: skills are most valuable when they can be connected to opportunity.

Our relationship with the wider ArtisanOga ecosystem gives ATEA a perspective that goes beyond classroom instruction. Students are prepared with employment, entrepreneurship and industry realities in mind from the beginning.

Employment

For students interested in employment, ATEA provides job-linkage support through ArtisanOga.

Entrepreneurship

For students pursuing entrepreneurship, the learning journey is designed to help them move beyond ideas toward building stronger, more commercially prepared enterprises.

Industry Connection

For experienced students who are already employable while studying, opportunities may also be explored through the ArtisanOga platform.

This creates an important connection:

Learn Your Way. Meet the ATEA Standard.

The Learning Environment May Change. The Standard Does Not.

ATEA programmes may be delivered through Campus, Hybrid and Online learning formats, depending on the nature of the programme and its practical requirements.

The learning environment may change. The standard does not.

Students are expected to demonstrate the competencies required for their programme regardless of how they study.

That means an ATEA qualification should represent what a graduate can actually demonstrate, not simply the number of classes they attended.

Fashion Is Only the Beginning

A Technical Entrepreneurship Institution.

ATEA is being developed as a technical entrepreneurship institution, not simply as a fashion academy.

Fashion Technology & Entrepreneurship is our starting point.

Over time, ATEA intends to introduce programmes in other technical sectors where skilled people can build careers, solve real problems, create businesses and generate employment.

Planned Next Area of Development

Renewable Energy Technology & Entrepreneurship

Including solar and renewable-energy skills.

Every new ATEA programme will remain anchored to the same fundamental idea: Technical competence should create economic opportunity.
